honoring those who served
Memorial Squadron
“Memorial Squadron” honors those who served in our military, living or deceased by performing “Missing Man” flyovers, rides to veterans, and supporting events. Memorial Flight consists of Mark’s 1956 USAF T34A, a very large group of fellow aviators and their airplanes (including The NorCal Beech Boys and Dragon Squadron) and Mark’s US Army M923A2 5 Ton Truck, nicknamed “Bertha”.
All "vehicles" are used for events such as the July 4th Independence Day Parade, Memorial Day Flyover, Veteran's Memorial Services, Veteran's Day, The Marine Corps Birthday, 9/11 Events, etc.
Mark is the self-appointed “Squadron Leader” who coordinates many of the events and responds to some “last minute calls” from the families of Veterans who have recently passed, and who would like a “Memorial Flyover” or a Missing Man Flyover for the funeral or memorial service. We’re currently looking for a committed force of fellow aviator volunteers so that we can continue to perform our very important mission; free flyovers and event support for those who want it.
